Caixia Zhang is currently an associate professor at the School of Journalism and Communication of Shandong University. She taught College English at the School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Shandong University from 2000 to 2017, has been to IUPUI as a visiting scholar for one year (2013-2014), and received her doctorate in Literature and Art from Shandong University in 2015. She has published several academic papers on Peircean semiotics and public opinion and is a principal investigator in one national social science fund project and one provincial project about Chinese capacity of international communication.
