Recently, as the first author, Professor Yu Fan of our school published an academic research article entitled "The Sino-Japanese Public Opinion War in the ‘Jinan Massacre’ - Also on Chiang Kai Shek' s view of public opinion before and after the unification of the Northern Expedition.

During the collection of historical materials, Yu Fan carefully organized the Japanese archives related to the public opinion of the "Jinan Massacre" in the Japan Center for Asian Historical Records, and combined with materials such as "Chiang Archives", "National Government Archives" and British and American diplomatic archives to form a total of nearly 300,000 words of archival historical materials. In the process of writing, Prof. Yu Fan tried to explain the issue of "how public opinion affects government decision-making" by sorting out his ideas, integrating materials, and scrutinizing and revising the article. After several rounds of review and revision, it was finally published.

In July 2018, Prof. Yu Fan was introduced with the title of "Qilu Young Scholar" by our college from Ocean University of China. Since then, he has published many papers in authoritative and important journals in the field of Journalism and Communication.
