On October 31, the sixth academic saloon for young scholars was successfully held in Zhixin Building A606. Assistant researcher Zhang Junjie from School of History and Culture shared his opinions on the theme of “the connection between cultural industry and history”, associate researcher Yuan Xiaochuan and postgraduates attended this activity.

Zhang Junjie and students discussed about “flirting history”, the relation between western economic crisis and the emergence of cultural industry. In his opinion, “flirting history” embodied customer’s anticipation, and the history in cultural products should be understood in a historical context, and the cultural difference also should be coped with.
